I’ll Probably Be Struck By Lightening Any Minute
I always find it strange that I manage to walk into a church without being struck down by God. I’m not a religious person, never have been, and I’m used to people making jokes about how if I step on holy ground that I’ll be struck by lightening any minute. I know that some of you might be surprised to hear that I’m not a God-fearing person. I know, shocker. I have, however, managed to pretend to be one. That was a necessary requirement when I signed up to be Young MC’s (Foxy’s first born) godmother. It’s true, she chose me and I said, “Hell, yeah!”
It’s also true that Foxy had to lie to the priest about me having been baptized and that I had to get up there and lie about renouncing sin and the Devil. But hey, we did what we had to do.
I’ve been to the Vatican and the Pope did not come down from his holy office and throw me out on my pagan ass. Today, I went to Rosalin Chapel and no one kicked me out when I ignored all the signs and took pictures of the interior of the chapel. I know, I know, it’s wrong. So sue me.
Taking the pics is probably the least sacrilegious thing I did today. Witness the email that I sent to Claude today:
Today we went to Rosalin Chapel, it was beautiful! That’s where it’s rumored that the Holy Grail may be buried (it was also in The Da Vinci Code). Pretty amazing to see something that old with such a reputation, kind of like your mom.
If that doesn’t get me, I don’t know what will.

So you won’t burst into flames at the Vatican? Maybe I will take you to Rome this summer after all. I’m dying to prove you wrong. And if you don’t burst into flames, I owe you a gelato.
Dude, you are taking me to Rome and I will totally pretend to be your girlfriend. I’ll even make out with you in front of your parents. -CS
Hi Catherinette!
Well, I’m here because I read an article or two some time ago you wrote, and was quite impressed; But I was way too busy with work and studies to leave a comment, and now I stumbled again on your blog. I find a lot of your manuscripts very enlightening and in many ways very funny. Have you ever seen the movie of Tom Hanks: “Angels and Devils” recently released on DVD?
I just finished my postgraduate in Certified Financial Planning™ at the University of the Free State, South Africa, and I’m now finished, and …finished…! (No studies for me any more). I started a blog or two recently and hopefully will get some time to post interesting stuff. You are most welcome to visit my blog’s at: http:/jeankruger.wordpress.com & http:/trustfin.wordpress.com and tell me what you think? Maybe you could be so kind to lend a hand of advice and tell me what your thoughts are, and how I could improve.
Thanks for a very enlightening blog,
To your success!
Jean.
Happy New Year!

VISION
The gift of VISION is greater than the gift of sight. Sight is a function of the eyes, but VISION is a function of the heart. The power of VISION is that your future is not just ahead of you – it also lies within you.
Nothing noble or noteworthy on earth was ever done without vision. No invention, development, or great feat was ever accomplished without vision’s inspiring power.
To Your Success!
