Kate Gosselin is The Devil
A few days ago, I wrote a Twitter about Kate Gosselin:
Dear Kate Gosselin, your hair is a crime against humanity. Also, your 15 minutes are up.
A few minutes later, I received a tweet from one of my fellow Twolia bloggers, Deanna who wanted to defend Kate’s “honor”. She challenged me to a duel. How on earth could I possibly refuse?? I mean, come on now, the only honor that Kate has is dishonor. I accepted, battle on, Deanna!
Why use words when we have pictures to show what happened:
I’ll be honest with you, I never understood the allure of Jon and Kate Plus 8. To me it seemed like a snooze fest, and frankly, there’s better TV to watch then some woman with a bad haircut yelling at her kids and her inept husband. Whatever, they’re popular and it’s a mystery that will never be solved - kind of like who really killed Marilyn Monroe. I get why they wanted to do a show, just not why on earth anyone would be interested in watching them take their kids to the store while they fight over whether they’re going to buy regular or organic wheat bread. Who cares?? 8 mouths to feed can get expensive, and the thought of putting clothes on their backs and planning for education must be daunting. A reality show is a great way to plan for the future, but Kate took it to an extreme. From what I’ve seen, it seems like Kate became what I like to call a “glory whore”. Her behavior makes it seem like suddenly it wasn’t about the family anymore, it was about what she herself would be getting out of all the TV deals and the popularity.
All I can think of is these poor children. Look, I come from a broken home, I know what it’s like to watch our family fall apart. But I can’t begin to imagine what it must be like for these poor children who are bombarded with images of their parents being assholes to one another in the public eye.
So, where’s the honor in all of this? There isn’t any. My conclusion is that Kate sucks and she desperately needs someone to tell her the truth about what a giant bitch she is, how negatively her behaviors will effect her children, and that her haircut isn’t doing a damn thing for her.
But enough about why I think she’s such a hateful person with the world’s worst haircut. What do you think?

I totally read your post, but someone can’t make you seem like a bitch. You are on or you are not, and I vote that she is one. She can choose the way that she behaves on camera for the free world to see, and she chose to yell and cause scenes.
I do feel bad about making her cry BUT it doesn’t make the haircut nice. Hey, feel free to tell her that we learn from our mistakes…

Amen sista… I watched the show once or twice a couple of years ago and besides being boring, I remember exclaiming to my wife then that she was nothing but a fire breathing harpy whose alpha male thing would eventually wear out that laconic husband and he’d leave her. The whole thing came as no surprise to me at all.

May you — and those who agree with you — never have to suffer the abuse of a passive-aggressive spouse. Because I — and any good mental health professional — will tell you, living with one makes you look and act the bitch, the crazy one. Seriously.
And my kid didn’t really cry (you think at 13 she cares what I blog? lol) We both are satisfied in the knowledge that she rocks her hair
And that’s exactly why I love therapy, so I don’t end up with some passive aggressive d bag like Jon or Kate. Those 2 never should have gotten married and they both need some help.
Have to admit that I’m totally curious to see what he hairdo looks like on her.

I have seen minutes here and there of the show, and it has got to be one of the most boring documentary-type shows ever. Sit and discuss her tan for like five minutes. Yeah…

To be honest, Jon and Kate BOTH are the Devil.
Jon’s the Devil for being a dickwad, and Kate’s the Devil for convincing her husband that it was a GOOD IDEA to have every aspect of their lives broadcast as TV entertainment!
Let’s think something through here, shall we?
You have an older set of twins, and then the sextuplets.. So 8 kids and two adults in the house.
Yeah, all passive-aggressive stuff notwithstanding, there’s going to be serious bitchiness from BOTH sides just in trying to get these kids all on the same page as the parent EACH time they try to get something done.
Can’t stand the show, can’t stand the people, don’t really want to hear about them anymore.
Let’s have Kate and Octomom start rooming together, and start a new reality TV show:

I agree that Kate ia a raving bitch who has let fame and money just enhance her already flawed personality. What I don’t understand is why her milk toast, p*s*y whipped husband would stand for it. I can not imagine the sex was that good, with her critiquing his every move or complaining about how he wasn’t doing it hard enough, fast enough, slow enough, etc etc etc.
If Jon only had a ball gag, they might still be together.

I believe Kate is a former member of Flock of Seagull’s and has yet to realize that that hair is still not cool. (even with the modern combover effect)

Why would any woman have over three children at one time? Seriously. She’s ruining her kids lives. Look what has happened to all former child stars. What gets me is all of a sudden the aligator tears that she turns on every chance she gets to cry “poor me”. All I can say is she is One Cold-Hearted BITCH! She doesn’t miss Jon, she just misses the fact that she doesn’t have someone to abuse anymore or get to do her dirty work. Of course, Jon shouldn’t get a pass either. He’s a low-down lazy good-for-nothing snake in the grass!

I have never watched this show. I never plan on watching this show. I don’t know whether she yells at Jon or not. I don’t know if John is passive aggressive or not.
Here is what I do know. I know what I respect, which is grace under pressure. I also respect not dragging your dirty laundry out for the world to see. Kate can’t control what Jon says to the media, but what she can control is what she says. I would actually respect her if she said NOTHING, and I suspect I’m not the only one that would respect her more for that.
Let’s look at the female sportscaster who was filmed without her clothes on without her permission. The video was all over the web. She did not talk about it when it happened or indeed for MONTHS. When she did eventually speak about it, she prefaced it with, “I’ve never spoken about this, and I never will speak about this again after today.”
Kate needs to teach her daughters grace by example. That’s the role model she needs to be.
You, dear friend, raise a very good point about being graceful. That is exactly what Kate Gosselin has not been. If she was graceful, she would have pulled out of the limelight and said told the world that she wanted to deal with matters privately. Which she chose not to do because clearly that would impact how much she could spend on a terrible haircut. -CS

I was walking around the West Hollywood parade this year, and of course, there was a sweet little tranny dressed up as Kate +8. She was ranting and raging about “that asshole Jon” and dragging her kids around. Her hair looked like a raccoon attacked it and she had little baby dolls swinging from her hips and in her arms and nasty mascara streaks on her face from crying. A friend completed the costume by being her film crew.
Here’s my point: Everyone knew this was Kate. Fucked up hair. Kids being dragged inappropriately. Bitchiness and glory whoring. And frankly, I liked the tranny more.
Kate can suck it. So can Jon. Clearly they are downgrading the human gene pool.

I watched the show about 3 times and could not stand it. My 12 year old loves to watch because she likes to watch the kids. Even she at 12 thinks that both Jon and Kate are idiots. She said about them: Kate yells too much and Jon is a lazy dork. lol out of the mouths of babes!!!
My take is this: Jon” is a lazy huge kid himself! Kate has to tell him to do everything because he is a freaking slacker!! I’ve been married to a man like that and because you have to tell them repeatedly to do things you look like a huge nagging shrew.
Kate: She needs to learn to take a couple of calm deep breaaths and go with the flow not get so worked up over anything and everything.
Both of them: Are freaking media whores!!!!! They aren’t doing this for their kids best intrests despite what they say, they want the fame and the trappings that go with it. Look at their house, their cars all the stuff they buy. Kate gets divorced and gets her wedding ring redone to have 8 diamond chips one for each kid and a mother of pearl to represent her how in the hell is that in the kids best intrest?>?!!!
Both Kate and Jon need to grow up and stop acting like 40 something year old teenagers!!! Kate comes across badly because rather than handling things with grace she just goes on tv crying and bawling about how bad everything is. Sheesh let it go already!!! I would respect Kate a lot more if she went on tv saying ” I don’t want to discuss this I’m handling things end of story”

They are both pretty terrible creatures, and I’m certain if you were to look up “douchebag” in the dictionary, there would be a grinning photo of Jon in Ed Hardy. But she’s totally the worst. I only saw snippets of a few episodes (ADD what?) and I couldn’t stand to watch much more. There was one where they were getting new blinds for the front windows and two lowly PAs for the show were installing them and every half hour she’d come in and bitch at them for something about it. They weren’t lined up correctly, or they’re taking too long, or there’s some tiny little thing that isn’t up to her standards. Bitch, you have a crew of people in your house doing things for you, be thankful. I have to put up my own goddamn blinds.

I agree with all of you who said Kate turned her precious life into a circus. She was a witch to Jon and if she really did everything for the sake of the kids, she’d have cut the cameras and dealt with issues in private. I think shes a money hungry, cold diva! And yes, where did she get that hairstyle? She looks like shit!
