Ever wonder what a farm girl from the depths of the midwest would look in Chanel? You know, the girl who has unkempt hair, but a potentially supermodel face, but doesn’t know it because people around her are too busy picking up pig poo? Yeah. Well, Karl had the same epiphany (or Netflixed Green Acres)and made a whole damn collection about it! In all honesty, I kind of like it. I’d totally wear the suit dress in the fifth photo and go apple picking or do something girly and quaint like that. That dude in the second photo is NOT gesturing, ‘These are my b*tches and Hos’ . No. He’s just making sure the camera gets his perfectly tweezed eyebrows. By the way, it looks like clogs are back!

Dear Rodarte,
I suspect District 9 , Predator, and Swamp Thing were on your Netflix the week before you designed your Spring 2010 collection. Although both movies ( with the exception of Predator) are totally the bomb, the fashion was not, particularly, anything to replicate, let alone be a glimmer of inspiration. Looking at your collection, I have an explained urge to gymp ( not in the Pulp Fiction sense of the term, but in the cheezy, tween craft sense of the term.) I’ll let you know if I have any extra weed whacking string to donate ’cause I’m cool like that.

a onesie for two pregnant ladies. That better have a butt flap in case one has to pee. or both. I remember when I was preggers I had to be within 10 feet of the toilet or I could have gotten the case of the Fergies. Especially, the last 3 months…
Getting back on track, They look a little twiddle dee and dum-ish. With a twist of Alison Goldfrapp and those creepy twins from Gormenghast.
If you haven’t seen Terry Gilliam’s Gormenghast, then you must drop everything and Netflix it to the top of your list! It is so bizzare and cool! Those kooky Brits! Also, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is in that, so you know it’s worth the 6 hours total ( yes, I watched it all…. over 2 nights,… okay, in one shot with no bathroom break or snackums break ). I always wondered why they never showed this in the US, but I don’t think Americans would get it. They would just think it’s gay. Be sure to check out the PERSIAN CAT ROOM! It’s where I want to go when I die…
