Vivienne Westwood is one of my all-time favorites, especially for the corset-ed gowns. However, her more casual line called ‘Red Label’ looks anything but the usual fashion-forward, punk socialite style that is Vivienne Westwood. Seriously, the 2nd photo  is like me after I paint with my preschooler. Except, I ‘d have a pissed face, not a ‘420 smirk’ like the model. The horn hat looks like the albino version ofHellboy (before he saws them off , of course.)  I do dig the plastic shoes with the wings, though. Apparently, they are the new collection of shoes with Brazilian plastic shoe company, Melissa. I could use some wings in my life.

Melissa is a Brazilian shoe company that specializes in plastic shoes. Not those jelly shoes from the 80s that gave  you nasty blisters, but actually nice, cool shoes, only in plastic. I have never worn any of their shoes, so I can’t vouch that it won’t give you blisters or even worse- sweaty , stinky feet, BUT, they do look nice! I even heard that they add a ‘bubble gum’ aroma to their plastic. So at best, you may come away with ‘bubble gum with a tad of sweaty’ foot odor?? I dunno… Anyway, The first pink shoe is a shoe by Melissa designed by Karim Rashid. He’s the dude that designed stuff for Target at one time. I like his stuff.  The last photo, a powder blue shoe  with a heart, is actually a Vivienne Westwood design. She has done several shoe lines with Melissa.  The problem with these shoes is that I have never seen these in a store and they have no retail listing anywhere. I like these shoes, but I can’t find them.
