Artist Meryl Smith made this doggie bag that would make Paris Hilton squeal and a dog shiver. This dog looks pretty realistic and creepy, especially if you see if from far away, say, in a restaurant. It could totally pass for one of those stuffed carcasses. That being said, I would buy one just for the creep out factor. This is some very gruesome couture by British menswear designer Katie Eary for her Spring 2010 collection. If someone wore this on October 31, I’d think they are the bomb! But if they wore this on November 1, I’d think they’re a lunatic. Why are my eyes drawn to the fur? Fur on a man is like heels on a baby- not right! You have to appreciate that it’s anatomically correct (I assume). Sort of like this be@rbrick. If Chewbacca were a pimp , this Gold Ghetto Chewbacca would be beyond perfect. Rosie Kent and Liria Pristine are the fashion duo called PristineSmut. Yes, I know. It’s a glorious name! Their newest collection revolves around knit jewelry and a stegosaurus -at least that’s what I gather from these photos. This reptilian-inspired collection is perfectly in tune for Halloween. I would totally throw one of those stegosaurian back jewelry (like in the first photo) on my 4 year old for Halloween and call it a day! The finger gloves are crucial for nail biters. Although, I would totally wear those while weeding the garden. In any case, PristineSmut has some very interesting jewelry. Personally, if it doesn’t sparkle, it’s not jewelry.

Does Marlies Dekkers make underwear for the geriatric and handicapped? Somehow I think she’s crossed generations instead of decades by accident. Her undies are actually cool, it’s the props that make it odd. I’m all for odd, but when you’re incorporating a walker that my batty neighbor owns, it gets to be questionable. I do like the different styles of corsets above. I have a corset collection (the real kind with steel bones) of approximately 90. Most all were custom made by a wonderful company in Orange, CA called Versatile Fashions. It comes in handy during Halloween and a formal night on the town. Here are some photos of me in corsets.

This was Heidi Klum’s costume for Halloween! It is awesome! I love when people dress up seriously for Halloween. It shows they have a sense of spirit that usually only a child would possess. Heidi always dresses up fiercely on Halloween , but I think this one takes the cake. I wonder if her kids saw her in that costume… a little macabre with the heads and limbs. This year I was a Geisha . What were your costumes this year?

Happy Halloween! It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Halloween is actually the only day of the year Where I don’t get strange looks. I am going as a Geisha this year ( will post photos soon). It was a hard one between the Geisha, a random Harajuku girl or Snow White. I have a Latex General costume from House of Harlot, but I didn’t want to scare my son and other small children.
Above is a really cool necklace from La Fille du Consul that I should have worn a few years ago with my Marie Antoinette costume. Bummer. I’m sure you can wear this on Un-Halloween days , as well. I bet you could wear that as a headband for that ‘Silence of the Lambs’ look.
