Whenever I’m in Paris, I make time to go to this cool boutique. Last time I was there, I picked up these mirrors cut out in the shape of French cartoon characters for my son’s room. Sooooo coooooool! They also have a website and are having a huge sale right now.
Here are my picks this month:
-Olympia Le Tan’s minaudières (a box that looks like a book)
- Giuseppe Zanotti’s ballet slippers with rhinestone bullets. Simultaneously dainty and bad ass.
- Valentino x colette Limited Edition t-sirt. It’s supposed to be an orchid, but I like to think of it as rotten lungs.
-Buffalo Toyz introduces a designer toy called ALYENZ . This is trouble for me because this would look fantastic next to my be@rbricks.

British designer, Ryan McElhinney , made this Grandfather clock that chimes every 15 minutes for a client in Dubai. All I can picture is some oil sheik playing with He-man and Skeletor figurines while a harem of ladies are rolling their eyes and snapping their gum. Anyway, this masterpiece is covered in white (I’m surprised it’s not in gold) paint and takes six weeks to make. Check out Ryan’s site for more cool stuff he made with toys, including a floor lamp and picture frame. If I had some cash to burn, I would have him make a naked Barbie grandfather clock in pink. That would be stellar!!

Before we begin, get all the vomit out from last night’s debauchery. Mmmkay…
Photographed by Mark Seliger, Vogue Germany did a spread last year with Minnie Mouse inspired fashions. I thought I’d start the new year out with some Disney. Why? Because it’s the happiest place on earth especially for that ho, Minnie. What IS her job description? Mickey’s resident ho and Goofy’s fag hag… So you gotta give her props. Anyway, when I was a wee kid (3-ish) I had a Minnie Mouse dress that I wore to death. Click here to see my toddler ass. Okay, so not much has changed and I still wear bows on my head. Anyway, these photos can give you some inspiration for fashion in 2010… hopefully, it won’t be as crappy as 2009.

Belgian fashion designer Anna Heylen had made miniature versions of her fashion lines for dolls back in 1993. She recently resurrected them and can be seen at her shop in Antwerp. You can read about why she does this …blah blah blah, here. I think it’s a great idea to show your clothes on dolls. I mean you save tons of money and you don’t have to deal with bitchy or late models. Score! Anyway, I threw in some dolls of Lady Gaga made by a devoted fan while we’re on the subject. And by devoted , I mean rabbit stew and flicking lamps.

Christmas is just a few days away, so I thought I’d make it easier for you and compile a list of crap I’d like to see in my stocking. Seriously though, I have so much crap that if I get more crap, I’m not gonna have room anywhere to put the crap considering I’ve got so much crap already. I’ll translate that: I don’t need anything, a gift certificate to a restaurant, spa or splendid vacation will do. So here’s the list if I had the space….
1- A Bless USB (1 GB) made from a poor Mink’s tail. It kind of looks like a computer ate a mink or a (gorgeous) cat and all that’s left is a tail. I seriously wish it still had the ass attached still just so I could say I have a ‘cat/mink ass USB’. Sweet.
2-A hissed off kitty necklace from ShanaLogic. He looks like an old-timey professor.
3-11-Inch “Bearbell” Be@rbrick from Japanese star, Chiaki. In case didn’t know , she’s the Japanese school-girl in Kill Bill: Volume I . Chains are her accessory. Available at Kidrobot.
4- Swearing ring by Wendy Brandes. This way I can say what’s on my mind with a flash of the knuckles and a sneer. Everybody wins!

Here are a few things at Paris boutique, colette, that I love (hint, hint), but will probably end up getting a FUG sweater that belongs on a Minnesotan cat lady, a FUG jewelry set that belongs on QVC, or a FUG scarf that belongs on an aging Indian ho. *Sigh* I can always dream…
-Be@rbrick my first b@by Chiaki x colette- I have the first edition that is pastel colors; so naturally, I would need this.
-Neighborhood x Disney- The Big Bad Wolf and Mickey Mouse- Disney goes psycho!
-Jewelry designer Katie Hillier’s Bunny collection- Paper clip comes to life as a bunny- sweet!
-Ladurée mini-corner at colette- Macaroons! Also, because your ass is too lazy to go a few blocks to the actual Ladurèe store.
-White Crystal Swarovski Christmas at colette - bedazzling crap is still in! My fave is the be@rbrick, of course.
-T1MEPEACES bracelets designed by Denise Julia Reytan- Who needs to know the time anyway!

British artist (it seems it’s always the British) Nancy Farmer has designed a series of greeting cards with Barbie doing normal things with gimps, whips, leather and latex. You know, like, hanging out listening to music with a gimp as a cocktail hostess. Or Barbie having afternoon tea on some chick’s back. Or like chaining and beating people up. You know the usual crap. I wonder what holiday or occasion these greeting cards would be perfect for…. how about “Happy Birthday ” to my overpaid Dominatrix? Or “A little thank you note for taking care of my gimp while I went away”. Or “how about a Tea Party?! You bring the the tea, I’ll bring the table.. and gimp”. It’s pretty endless! On a side note, I dig Barbie’s goth makeup.
PS- These are the more tame photos I posted.

This is some very gruesome couture by British menswear designer Katie Eary for her Spring 2010 collection. If someone wore this on October 31, I’d think they are the bomb! But if they wore this on November 1, I’d think they’re a lunatic. Why are my eyes drawn to the fur? Fur on a man is like heels on a baby- not right! You have to appreciate that it’s anatomically correct (I assume). Sort of like this be@rbrick. If Chewbacca were a pimp , this Gold Ghetto Chewbacca would be beyond perfect. Check out Katie’s website- I actually love the union jack trousers and the British guard look. Hawt!
Tomorrow is my most favorite holiday ever! Why? Because it’s the only day in the year where no one points, stares or laughs at me! Sooooo………Happy Halloween!

Check out the window in colette (if you are lucky to be in Paris) next week (Oct. 11-17) for a special window display of Where The Wild Things Are directed by Spike Jonze . There you will find specially designed jewelry, sneakers and other stuff ,including Be@rbricks for this classic movie!
New this month are crazy stockings that Pipi Longstocking would fawn over.
Italian artist Simone Legno designs a ‘Mini-Karl’ by Tokidoki for your Karl Lagerfeld shrine. (I know you have one.)
A Bathing Ape ’s version of the famous Eames chairs ( in bright camouflage) and the Be@rbrick give homage to master Verner Panton.
The new Halloween Be@rbrick, in black, orange, and glow-in-the-dark with a ‘Trick or Treat’! And an Original Fake Halloween T-shirt for all you Trickers!
Enjoy!

Is that weird? So, walking around Comic-Con was great for me because I got some great fashion tips from the Dolls of Comic-Con. These are some adorable dolls that make me excited, but some creeped out. (Especially, if you have a room full of dolls staring at you !) I have one of those rooms so I’m totally used to it! Anyway, these dolls are from Toffee and The Valley of the Dolls (Pullip dolls). I need to get that deer head purse! It just screams, ‘Avant-guarde’ or ‘psychotic’!
