Weeks Best! June 28th - July 3rd

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

This week was filled with so many beautiful interior treasures. There were quite a few ocean blue and peachy coral spaces that remind me of being in a coastal area. The colors are similar to the shells, sand and sea you find on the Mediterranean. Wouldn’t that be a lovely place to be right now?

Interior Spaces: London Light & Airy Home

Friday, January 16th, 2009

This has got to be one of the best houses to live in. Not only is it wonderfully decorated it has a ton of natural light and its a great practical family home. It also has a fantastic art studio with a skylight. As you know I absolutely love old homes with a modern aesthetic and this house has that perfect balance of the old with the new. Some beautiful details about this house is the upstairs balcony, wide open spaces, and a beautiful modern fireplace. I am sold!

Love the cute shelf outside

Notice the table lamp mimics the artwork in the top left photo.

What I would give to have that art studio. So lovely!

Product Trend: Wall Protrusions

Monday, January 12th, 2009

I have been noticing a very different and cool trend in the world of architecture and interior design and that is wall protrusions. Designers are playing with the idea that the wall is folding out. Here are some of the most interesting ones that I have found including a fireplace pocket, a molded shelf, a corner wall light and a wall curtain? I am so fascinated with this concept and I can’t wait to see what comes next.
