Loving these pretty items from the modern and fun furniture and decor company called Zone Maison. My favorites are their pillows and wall decor. Apparently they have a store in the historical byward market area and it has a lot of delightful things for your home. I read that they have some really cool chandeliers and other hanging lights, pillows, candles, picture frames, dishes, etc. They have several stores and they are located in Plateau, Westmount, Côte-des-neiges, Québec, & Ottawa.

And this is just a small percentage of whats is on her beautiful website. Here is a bit about what Lisa does:
“Lisa Fontanarosa presents the world’s most wonderful, whimsical, and witty home furnishings. The Collection of artist-made pieces-from chandeliers and cushions to glassware and sculpture-dares to be different and is designed to delight.”
I think I would be quite delightful if I owned just one of these pieces. So different and interesting. Its quite refreshing for a change.
Have some time to spare? Go check out her site at http://lisafontanarosa.com You wont regret it. :)

So I know a lot of other bloggers have already featured the beautiful shop Terrain but I couldn’t resist sharing my own favorites here on my blog. Hope these images help start your Monday! :)
There is something so relaxing about their beautiful products. The natural country feel and homey atmosphere put me in a restful mood. It makes me want to decorate my home and future garden like this especially for those stressful days. I love that one of the images has a book in it called Natural Garden Style. This is a great way to describe their look and image. I love it!

Ruffles and lace win me over every time especially when they are on beautiful pillows!
My mom just gave me a bunch of really thick beautiful fabric with pretty trim and I am so tempted to sew a pillow with it. Pillows are easy to sew right? Adding zippers or buttons are little intimidating so I think I am not going to make a cover but instead a permanent pillow. At least for my first one. :)
I think once I get the hang of it I would love to make one with lace and eventually add ruffles on another. Maybe I should take a sewing class or get a book to learn how to do the harder things like zippers and buttons. Maybe that will be my goal for the next few weeks.
Any suggestions or tips?

You can never go wrong with black.
I love black because you never have to worry too much about matching it to other items. You know how certain colors are really specific when decorating? I am working on a nursery for a client and we are using blue and I am having the hardest time making sure the blues match. I am leaning on using a lighter blue and a medium to darker blue just to break it up a bit. I guess I just don’t like when it looks like you tried to match the color but failed. Do you know what I mean? Now only if the client wanted the nursery in all black. That would be easier! :)
That’s okay though I am always up for a challenge!

Or at least these are new to me. If you follow my blog you probably know by now that I love Ankasa. Who doesn’t really? I think everyone and their mom would have one if they were more affordable. Browsing their site I really enjoyed looking at their products that fit with a more tropical climate and ones that fit with a cooler climate. The collections have a beautiful unifying feel to them because of the intricate craftsmanship and design. Really just stunning pieces of work. These pillows are like art to me.
They now have eco-friendly furniture. I love the ornate cord embroidery on these last two pieces. Aren’t they just exquisite?

Not too long ago a woman told me that the reason for Buddhas spiral tufted hair was from birds making nests while he was in a prolonged meditation. I thought this was just so neat and it reminded me about a few decor pieces I had found. I decided to do a google search for a few more for this post and to my surprise I found a few more great items.
I am especially digging that Buddha pillow and the two lamps. Which peice would you choose?
1. Bond and Bowery
2. Zibby Zabby
3. Debenhams
4. Econscious Market (Green Product)
5. Pier 1
6. Made in China
7. Maisons du Monde

I am really enjoying these beautiful pieces of home decor and furniture with a modern Asian aesthetic from Jardins en Fleur (pron: Zhar-dans Ahn Flur). I especially love this purple tea set. So adorable!
On their website they explain the meaning of their name:
“From the French it literally translates to “Gardens in Flower.” That’s when gardens are at their pinnacle of beauty. And “gardens in flower” sounds so much better in French. N’est ce pas?”
- Simon P. Scott
If you are loving this look as much as me then you should check out their site for more of their lovely products: http://www.jardinsenfleur.com
