Room of the Day: Parisian Chic
Monday, September 21st, 2009Last week I came across this beautiful space from Peacock Feathers and was blown away by all the prettiness!
I commented on her blog and said it reminded me of something out of the movie Marie Antoinette. I would imagine that this is the space for woman to drink tea and gossip on a rainy afternoon. Those drapes are so dreamy and I love the mismatched chairs in soft blue and pink upholstery. I think the only thing I would want is a bigger and grander chandelier.
Wouldn’t this be a great place for a book club? I think I need one of these girl rooms! So fun!

love this room!! the drapery is so pretty!! and the lovely pink on the walls and the seating, divine!! I agree a larger chandelier would be better in the space

These colors are beautiful…very serene and feminine. The perfect setting for afternoon tea!

i can see why you were blown away, this is absolutely gorgeous… i think i love the curtains most of all, they’re wonderful. and gotta love the poodle =)
