Thinking About New Motifs
Monday, September 14th, 2009I have saved this collage that Tamaranda had done awhile back ago and I have wanted to blog about it for awhile now.
I really enjoyed reading her post about how black and white can add instant drama and sophistication to a space and working with contrast is easy when using these two hues. I definitely agree but what I took from her collage was the motifs on the artwork and fabric that she used. Peacock feathers and deers. I wonder if these motifs will still be in style by the beginning of next year. I wonder what new popular motifs will be out. Any ideas or predictions?
