dwellings and décor

I have been thinking about how I have a hard time designing an all neutral space because I am always wanting to add a hint of color here and a hint of color there. I do however think an all neutral space can look great when done well. I decided I would look through my inspirational photos and contemplate why I like these even though there is hardly any color.

I decided that it helps to have a plant in the space to make it feel more welcoming and I also love the spaces with a lot of texture and having a vast amount of sunlight coming in doesn’t hurt either. I also love the natural exposed wood in a few of these. It really helps warm up the space and I am big on contrast and many of these spaces have it.

Could you or do you have an all neutral space? If so how do you stop yourself from adding color?
