Guest Post: Ashley from Decor Amor’s Bedroom
Tuesday, April 21st, 2009Hello!
My name is AshleyL. and I am the writer and designer behind the blog Decor Amor.
I am honored to have been asked by Ms. Mallon to guest blog while she is away!
For today’s post I would like to invite you into my home
and introduce you to my decorating style.
As a college student I share a quirky five-bedroom home with six others.
With so many people in a house with very little space,
I have turned my itsy bitsy room into a personalized getaway.
I paired springtime pinks, reds, and greens with classic black and white.

Welcome!
As a college student I share a quirky five-bedroom home with six others.
With so many people in a house with very little space,
I have turned my itsy bitsy room into a personalized getaway.
I paired springtime pinks, reds, and greens with classic black and white.

My room and decorating style is inspired by my love for India,
springtime buds and blossoms, and greenery.

My desk, highboy, and bed were all found on Craigslist (bed originally from Ikea).
I painted the desk, highboy, and frames black and
reupholstered the chair with fabric from a flea market.
The other fabrics in my room came from my favorite Indian store Fab India.
The frames, lamps and other trinkets were collected from local thrift shops.

I hope you have enjoyed this little photo tour of my room.
If you have enjoyed today’s post then stop by Decor Amor and say hello!
Thank you for stopping by!
I hope you have a happy day!
