Interior Spaces: Boudoir Style Tea Shop

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

I have been drinking so much tea lately and I would much rather be drinking it here. I would be that person that keeps buying tea so I could stay all day. I mean look at those wing chairs! Pure genius. I also just love the way they set up their tea jars. So cute. It reminds me of 18th century shops. Also notice that tiled wall next to the brick. Stunning! I really wish I could snap my fingers and be transported into this tea haven or should I say heaven?

Oh, I love the tea shop–all those tea containers lined up are just beautiful and I love the warm tones of all those pillows.

I LOVE cozy little tea shops like this! There’s one in toronto near my parents’ house called ‘the red tea box’. not only is the decor absolutely precious (think miniature settees mixed with mid-century arm chairs and low tables) but the food is DIVINE. it’s one of my all time faves!

I would buy pot after pot of Earl Grey and sit in one of those velvet chairs and scribble endlessly in my journal!

What wonderful images! Do you mind, I have to steal them and put them in my inspiration folder!

It’s so funny because I’m going with a girlfriend to a tearoom tomorrow for afternoon tea :) I also posted about tea and teacups today. How fitting. I’m totally addicted to tea.
