Why do employers have to be so cruel? Giving your employees 0 vacation days is simply wrong. Even 5 or 10 days isn’t enough time to live a quality life outside the office.

Life happens and people need more time off work. There are weddings to celebrate, funerals, births, graduations, family reunions, honeymoons, family trips, sick days, holidays, etc.

For many in corporate America, all of this must be done in 5 business days per year.

It would be nice to see more employers offering flexible work options (European Style), including:
-HOURS (What are these anyway? People should be able to go home early without dirty looks if they finish early and not have to work uncompensated crazy hours)
-MORE VACATION TIME
-WORK LOCATION (Work from wherever, just get the job done well)
