Yes, dudes and dudettes (did I just say that?)….Xmas is FRIDAY. Holy crap, man. For some reason it dosen’t seem right this year that Xmas could actually be on a Friday. Which means Xmas Eve is on THURSDAY…Yikes! So yes, considering Santa has not fufilled all her Santa-like duties (I will going tonight after hubby gets home)..Santa is FREAKIN’.

Santa has Dada’s stocking covered at least. Now, I know shopping for men can be about as exciting as a dental exam. But these little Tom’s of Maine travel sizes are pretty darn cute….and you can get them at Walmart or Target. So take a deep breath and go pick a few of these up for the boyz….

Happy Monday my beauties….Meet Beth…Fellow addict and devoted reader (and friend) from Austin, TX.  I had the pleasure of meeting Beth a few months back when Carmindy was in town for her book signing….And it’s been non-stop dish ever since.  I knew I had to get my hands on her beautiful face the next time she was in town.

So that’s exactly what I did when Beth came into town to celebrate her 50th Birthday. YES boys and girls, this is what 50 can look like…that is a 50 that is very well-maintained (and NO she’s had no tweaks)… who didn’t spend the bulk of her teen years in a tanning bed (like moi). I am telling you right now….the very oily skin that Beth has felt “cursed” with her whole life is exactly what has helped her look waaay younger than her years…. So all you young-uns think about that next time you blot.

Beth even brought her stash into town for me to go through…..Needless to say, I was stunned (and delighted) and proceeded to fondle each product (we’re a sick bunch..us beauty junkies). ANYWAYS…there were a few things that Beth just HAD to add to the stash after our time together (and that you might want to look into, too)…..

Cargo blu_ray High Definition Mattifier ($26). I use this wonderful mattifying makeup primer on set and for my oilier gals in real life…it sucks up the muck and helps foundation just glide on. Tip: You can also use this tinted primer to keep your face shine-free on no makeup days….even great for boys, too!

Tricia Sawyer Beauty Full Potential Foundation in Light ($38). Let’s face it…it’s hard for you Porcelain Pretties to get the right foundation match (or for your makeup artist to match you)…This creme-dream matches even the fairest of them all….

Bobbi Brown Longwear Gel Liners ($21)…My must-have for the “winged look”…Really could not do it without this favorite. (I showed Beth my no-fail technique for getting perfect, symmetric winged eyeliner…someday I promise to show y’all).

MAC Blot Powder Pressed ($21). Seriously…For us “Shiny Susie’s”, adding this little compact to your purse is nothing short of life-changing..SUPER sheer but SUPER absorbent, I can’t live without it (and it works great on set for boys).

Hello my beauties…Is your man a metrosexual? Mine is…and he likes to smell pretty.  Lucky for him… Diesel launched a new scent last week called Only The Brave ($52.50 for the 1.7 Eau de Toilette)…(awfully manly bottle for a metrosexual, no?)…..

With it’s Lemon Blossom, Mandarin Leaf  and Coriander top-note…Black Rose and Lavender base and an Amber and Ebony Wood dry down, I know hubby will be adding this scent to his fragrance library…..
