(well maybe not yet..but I will be after my appt. next week)
TGIF my beauties…I”m not gonna lie, it’s been a TOUGH week. On top of personal drama, I had to sign a FORM so my kids could watch our president in school today! WTH is wrong with people? It’s the kind of thing that shakes my faith, ya know? We had to put up with YOUR stupid puppet (I mean, president) for WAAAY too long…Give us this simple speech people. What do think is going to happen? Your kids might actually gain EMPATHY for their fellows (as in everyone deserves medical care)? (sorry, you can see where I’m going with this…..excuse my instability). So now let’s get back to the fluff:

1. Caress Evenly Gorgeous (<$5) Body Wash...I”m gonna venture out here and say “If you love Donna Karan’s Cashmere Mist you’ll love…..”. Yeah, the scent is pretty phenomenal (although I’ll pass on the ineffective “exfoliating beads”)…That way I could shave my legs more comfortably with it. If you are craving a good smell on the cheap, this is it.
2. Burts Bees Soap Bark and Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream (<$8). So if you were a Noxzema girl growing up but have started to become paranoid about all the nasty chemicals in it, than this BB’s cream cleanser is SO for you. Again, the smell is intoxicating….(just watch out for the eye area).
3. Olay Quench Body Lotion Active Hydration (with Green Tea & Vitamin Complex) (<$9). Niacinamide is the THIRD ingredient (yay) but mostly I love this one because it’s lighter (and absorbs quicker) than their other formulas. Perfect if you have to squeeze in a shower 20 minutes before you pick up the kids and then stand outside in the 150 degree weather waiting for them for them (read less of the slimy, wilted flower feeling). Could you get that?
4. Neutrogena 3-in-1 Concealer for Eyes (<$10). I pulled this bad boy back out this week since I”m losing my summer color (I mean damage). While the coverage isn’t heavy enough for a “full makeup day”….achieving a more rested-looking, sun-protected and moisturized eye area all in one is FABOO my dears.
5. Covergirl Exact Eyelights Eye Brightening Shadows (<$7). OMG, I have been having so much fun with these shadows..with 4 shades in each pallete your options are pretty endless….REALLY amazed at the amount of pigment they contain and how long they last…and imagine my astonishment when I could actually USE the brush it comes with…BRAVO Covergirl, BRAVO!!!
So that’s it my beauties…thanks for hanging in with me and putting up with my rants no matter what your political views may be.
United in Beauty. xoxo
Be Beautiful Ya’ll…..
