Drugstore Beauty Booty: The Weekly Top 5
Hola my beauties…Last day here in beautiful (but cloudy) Seattle….Actually looking forward to getting back to the old routine (but still not moved back into the house yet)! So, to get back in the swing of things I thought I’d do a Drugstore Top 5 post.
1. Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer (<$9). Really, I forgot how much I loved this stuff until a girlfriend commented on my “beautiful skin” during our girls trip last week…I’m convinced it’s because of this cheap buy. The formula gives such amazing color and is SO easy to use (seriously, I don’t even wash my hands after…just wipe the palms and between the fingers real good with a towel)….that way my arms don’t look like they went to Hawaii and let my handsĀ at home (hardy, har-har).
2. When it comes to nails and toes I am pretty one-note. It’s either dark or light…..and it may sound easy, but we all know finding a good, light polish shade that won’t streak on you is tough. I am in love with Borghese’s Nail Lacquer in Alabastro White ($8). Seriously, you “Essie Ballet Slipper” girls need to try this one out…….

3. Neutrogena’s Ultra Sheer Sunblock SPF 85 (<$10) performed fabulously for me all day long at the pool during my girls trip (I know…tough life). I was really impressed because it absorbed INSTANTLY….with no sting at all.
4. Another oldie-but-goodie…I bought a travel-size of John Frieda’s Moisture Barrier Hairspray (<$9) for my trip and yet again forgot how much I’d loved it in the past…I love it because it gives a pretty strong hold while giving my poor fried hair actual SHINE.
5. Another week, another face wash…No really, but it’s hard to find one that can take it all off without stripping the skin’s natural moisture…I’ve been enjoying Biore’s New Clean Things Up Nourishing Gel Cleanser ($7)…It gets rid of hard to remove mineral makeup as well as mascara in one fell swoop!
So there’s my Top 5 this week. I know, I know…not super exciting, but it can’t always be moons and rainbows (I really am losing it)….Can’t wait to get home (I mean hotel) and get my head on straight (sort of).
Got any new Drugstore Beauty Booty I need to know abut? Do tell…
Be Beautiful Ya’ll….

You do need to try the Boot’s No.7 4-in-1 makeup remover cloths. Sold at Target, $6.99 for 30, in a blue package. These are amazing! They remove my mineral makeup, my eyeliner (Urban Decay, Make Up Forever, Smashbox - all waterproof), my Cover Girl lip stain - you name it.
They leave your face clean, smooth, and feeling great. They travel well too!
