Stress-Free Beauty: Scandle Body Massage Candle….

I’m not kidding my beauties….If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been (and why my posts have been less frequent), it’s because we had a huge water leak in our home. Long story short, I’m writing this from our hotel “suite” on hubby’s laptop (cumbersome) for the next 4-6 WEEKS…Thank god for insurance (remind me I said that as I curse them daily).

So today, when I went to the house to meet with our contractor the timing of the arrival of my Scandle Originals Travel Size Body Massage Candle (4oz $11.95) could NOT have been better…I’d heard about their all natural, soy-based candles/body moisturizers for awhile now……and my curiosity is sated. I don’t know why but I thought more “body lotion” but actually it’s more like “oil”…(Duh, you use them AFTER you burn them?).
So I light my Fig & Brown Sugar sweetie and let it burn for maybe 20 minutes (they say not to burn longer than 1 hour). I admit it didn’t get a good enough burn to really scent the room (patience is not a virtue)…So I blew it out and dove in (more like dipped in a finger)….The oil absorbed perfectly and the scent was just lovely…..(I could probably dial the fragrance up a few notches..more IS better, right?). What surprised me the most was that there way ABSOLUTELY no waxy feel during the entire process!
Oooo-Ooo…It just hit me, these would be PERFECT to light before you take a bath and then to moisturize with afterwards….I might just do that tonight!!!!
What a fun experience (like I say it’s the little things)! Perfect for a quick pick me up while working on the computer….Mulit-task your way to beauty (and hopefully sanity). Thanks Scandle……
Scandle Candles can be found in a few small boutiques/spas across the country, but mainly online…
Be Beautiful Ya’ll…..

Oh, these sound wonderful! A quick search on their website by zip code shows they’re sold by one of the hospital gift shops here.

The idea about the bath sounds great. It’s a great way to relax and de-stress.

We’ve all already been through it: you find yourself ridding simply by a certain part of town let you know that the sign for the “Massage Parlor” or “Asian Spa” in the spot which doesn’t obligate a therapeutic massage parlor or employ a single Asian man residing close by, and using your own Russell-Crowe-like mind you got this kind of code and read the indication because it ended up being designated for being read - a sexy time. Instantaneously your own mind is overloaded with thoughts: “Just how much would likely this type of thing fees me?” “What do I get?” “Is that illegitimate?” “Are they virtually all Asian?”.But Don’t concern yourself. It is cheap great and calming. We have experienced couple of happenings and it normally have been completely wonderful
