Hi/Lo Beauty Booty: NEW Mascaras……
So…the thing I like about mascara is that you have to replace it every six weeks or so (right?….) so you get to experiment with new brands pretty often. Sometimes the thing I DON’T like about mascara is that you have to replace it every six weeks….(if you have one that you are totally loyal to).
Lucky for moi, I am pretty much a mascara slut and like to hop from tube to tube (hee, hee)…..
Let’s start with my Lo Pick…I’m really digging Rimmel’s New Sexy Curves Mascara ($7.99). It’s got a waay cool brush…takes a bit of getting used to but once you do it really helps you dig it into the lash line. The formula is very clump-free (although I wish it was a tad bit more voluminous)….but the length is ALL there. Bonus…you can buy it at your everything store!
My High Pick would be Anastasia’s Lash Lifting Mascara ($22). This baby does it all…gives super volume and really helps the lashes keep their curl. It’s become my everyday pick (at least for the next 6 weeks). Figures a brow guru would come up with a fabulous mascara….

LOL- I love the cartoon. So needed!! I received this same candle fragrance for my birthday and loved it though I let it burn all day at my office which was probally not good. I had so many compliments on the smell. Good buy!

My fave mascara routine is to use the lash conditioner that comes on the L’Oreal Beauty Tubes as the base, then use whatever I want on top for the color. Too Faced Hot Chocolate for brown…or my new discovery…LA Splash Lash Color in Electric Eel (perfect for when I want to exploit the green in my eyes and wear colors in the lavendar/purple/eggplant family!).
I know, I know…LA Splash is targeted to cheer squads and the like…but the colors are soooo cool! This almost-50-year-old mom can get away with using the more “normal” colors! And the bonus is…they’re waterproof!
I find LA Splash mascara and eyeliner at my local Ultas.

Ooo…gurl…I need to get me some! You would be proud…I braved Northpark and did the MAC store…still spend 100 bucks with my 40% off but my press samples were all colors I couldn’t wear myself…..

I’m still loving Lash Blast but I definitely need to get a new one. I was wondering about the Rimmel one. I’m more worried about volume than length so I’m not sure that one is for me. I do love the tube and the brush though.

Then go with LB honey….the Rimmel’s strong point is length (in my opinion).
